How do I setup online banking?
On the The Bank of Tioga website homepage, click “Login” and then “Online Banking Login”. On the next page, select the "Enroll Now" button. Enter in your information to get started in minutes. Additionally, you can enroll in online and mobile banking through our mobile app. Download it today from your app store, iPhone or Android.

How do I setup mobile banking?
First, enroll in online banking. Then use your phone to access the website from a browser, or for a better experience, download our Mobile Money app from your app store, iPhone or Android. Simply enroll or use the same login credentials as your online banking and you can bank from anywhere 24/7.

You no longer need to visit a branch location to deposit a check. Depositing a check is as easy as snapping a photo on your phone!1
What is Mobile Deposit Capture?
Mobile Deposit Capture allows a person to use their smart phone to take a photo of a check and deposit it into their bank account without ever having to physically take the check to the bank.
How do I deposit a check from my phone?
Login to your Mobile Money app and choose “Deposit” along the bottom, then “Deposit a Check”. Select the account you want to make the deposit in and enter the amount. Make sure to write “For Mobile Deposit Only at The Bank of Tioga” and endorse your check. Then, take photos of the front and back of your check to make the deposit. Funds are normally received within two business days. Please keep your paper check for five days after posting.

What is Bill Pay?
Bill Pay is a fast, easy and secure way to pay bills online. Simply put, it’s the best way to manage payments!
What services does Bill Pay offer?
Bill Pay offers many services including, but not limited to 24/7 access to pay bills electronically, the ability to set up recurring payments and a faster payments credited rate for payments than by mail (when using ACH). Bill Pay makes it easy to pay virtually anyone, and makes life easier with payment reminders and eBills.
How does it work?
To pay your bills online, you will complete a simple process of adding people and companies you would like to pay. Part of this process requires the account number from your bill. In some occasions, the vendor will also ask you to put in their billing address (which would show on your bill).
Once you add your bills, head to the "Payment Center" where you will find the "Pay Bills" section. In this section, all of the people and companies (the bills) you’ve added will be available. To pay a bill, simply enter the payment amount and the received date in the section of the bill you want to be paid. It will then become a "Pending Payment". You can view any pending payments and payments paid in the last 24 months. You can pay as many bills as you want at the same time.
How do I know my information is secure, especially since I’m using an online service?
Bill Pay uses multiple security measures to ensure the security of your finances and information including SSL, encryption and automatic sign out. Find a list of recommended secure online browsers here.

What is Popmoney?
Popmoney is a safe service that moves money directly from your bank account to another person.
What are the advantages to using Popmoney, especially in today’s technologically advanced society?
Popmoney is convenient for all. Transferring money between friends is as easy as asking someone for their email or mobile number; and sending it right to their phone! They will receive a notification directing them on how to deposit their money directly into their account. The money is then deposited within one to three business days. It can’t get much easier than that!
How is Popmoney different from other money transferring apps such as Venmo and PayPal?
PayPal is done directly through the website and isn’t accessed through text. It also is a more expensive and slower service, at three to five business days per transaction. Venmo doesn’t offer direct bank account to bank account transfers, holds the money in your Venmo account and charges three percent on payments made via credit card.
How do I know my money and bank account information is secure?
Popmoney is a peer-to-peer payment service offered by thousands of financial institutions. Security measures are taken throughout the payment process to help keep your transactions safe. When signing up for Popmoney, new recipients provide a verification code when claiming money to ensure the email address or mobile number belongs to them.
What about fees?
Popmoney offers two deliver methods. These methods are free or low-fee features, depending on the method you choose. The Bank of Tioga offers the standard delivery method at a cost-free rate. We also offer rush delivery for a small fee of $1.50 or if you request money from another person and/or bank, we charge a fee of $0.50.

How do I sign up for eStatements?
Signing up for eStatements is as easy as logging into online banking, choosing “Profile” in the top right hand corner and opting into "Electronic Statements". For assistance, please feel free to call a client contact specialist at 701-664-3388. They are more than happy to walk you through the process of signing up for eStatements.
If your banking needs require a signature, we have you covered. We use a program called DocuSign® which allows you to sign documents from anywhere in the world. We will send a secure email with simple instructions to sign documents.
