About our Crosby Bank

The Bank of Tioga was chartered in December of 1951 and opened for business in July 1952. The bank has operated continuously in Williams County, ND since its inception. The Tioga Bank Holding Company, a one bank holding company, was formed in 1975 and previously owned the bank.

The Bank of Tioga was acquired by TS Banking Group in 2014 and then The Bank of Tioga acquired Farmers State Bank of Crosby, ND in 2015. The Tioga bank location was renovated in 2016 and the Crosby bank location was remodeled in 2018.

Meet the team

Lee Rindel - VP of Ag Banking

Lee has a degree from North Dakota State University in animal sciences with a minor in agriculture business. Lee worked for the college for six years managing their beef research and teaching facility before returning to his hometown with his family. He has been with The Bank of Tioga’s lending team since he started in 2015. He travels between our two locations in Tioga and Crosby, when he is not meeting with clients on site. He resides on his family farm and ranch with his wife and two children near Crosby, where they care for their own small cattle herd. The children have become involved in 4H and sports, so spare time is spent caring for 4H livestock and attending games / practices with the family. Other activities he enjoys consists of hockey, camping, hiking and pheasant hunting.

Krista Verlinde - Branch Manager, Crosby

Krista joined The Bank of Tioga in 2019, and today serves as the Ag & Business Relationship Manager at the Crosby location. Krista is a native of Western ND and holds 2 degrees from North Dakota State University. Krista brings over 10 years of banking experience including background within frontline, deposit accounts, lending and management. She is a licensed MLO focused on providing attentive support to her clients with their residential real estate purchases and refinances.  She is experienced in a variety of loan requests, from consumer, agricultural and commercial lending. Krista is active throughout the community and currently serves on both the Divide County School District and Job Development Authority boards, she also is the club leader for her children's local 4H club. She resides with her husband and four children on a family farm in rural Noonan. In her spare time, Krista enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, hunting, gardening and swimming. She is also a proud hockey mom, cheering on each of her children every hockey season.
