The Bank of Tioga announces promotions of team members

The Bank of Tioga is pleased to announce several team member promotions including Wendy Lenzen as Senior Vice President of Business Banking, Lee Rindel as Senior Vice President of Ag Banking, Kaitlyn Weszner as Branch Manager, Assistant Vice President, Brittany Smithberg as Assistant Branch Manager, Emma Condit as Universal Banker III, Feliciana King as Universal Banker II, and Marcie Godijohn as Universal Banker II. Additionally, Krista Verlinde will now serve as Ag & Business Relationship Manager.

Wendy Lenzen has 15 years of experience in finance and banking, with eight of those years spent at The Bank of Tioga, since joining the bank in 2016. She has experience with frontline management, loan operations, mortgage origination and commercial lending. She is also a licensed mortgage loan officer. 

In her role as Senior Vice President of Business Banking, she will focus on leading commercial banking efforts, including the strong development of business relationships, while still providing mortgage and consumer lending options to the community. She serves as Board President for Tioga Area Economic Development Corporation, Board Treasurer for Tioga Medical Center, Board Vice President for Tioga Dollar for Scholars, as well as serves on Tioga Rec Council and Tioga Fund Advisory Board. 

 

Lee Rindel has nearly nine years of banking experience, since joining The Bank of Tioga in 2015. He has a degree from North Dakota State University in animal sciences with a minor in agriculture business. Lee worked for the college for six years managing their beef research and teaching facility before returning to his hometown with his family.

In his role as Senior Vice President of Ag Banking he will focus on leading the commercial banking efforts in all markets The Bank of Tioga serves. Lee resides on his family farm and ranch near Crosby where he cares for his own cattle herd. He is also active in the community, having served on the Divide County Fair Board and the livestock sale committee and Concordia Lutheran Church Board.

With Kaitlyn Weszner as Branch Manager, AVP and Brittany Smithberg as Assistant Branch Manager, their new roles will elevate our existing client service.
