July 11, 2018

The Bank of Tioga, a community bank with branches located in Tioga and Crosby, ND, is pleased to announce that Lee Rindel, AVP of Ag Banking, graduated from the Dakota School of Banking in June 2018 held at the University of Jamestown, Jamestown, ND.

One of North Dakota’s longest-standing banking education traditions, the Dakota School of Banking has graduated hundreds of bankers since its inception in 1974. Through the use of highly-qualified instructors and a challenging curriculum, Dakota School of Banking provides a multi-dimensional educational experience in banking. By completing two one-week summer sessions and intersession projects, students develop a range of skills to enhance current performance and qualify for advancement.

Over the two-year program, classes cover a wide variety of topics including macroeconomics, risk management, strategic planning, bank reports and exams.

Rindel was awarded ‘top banker’ in the 2018 graduating class which had a limited class size of 27 bankers. Additionally, his bank simulation team took top honors in the week-long BankExec Simulation coursework.

He graduated from North Dakota State University in May 2008 with a degree in Animal Science and minor in Ag-Business. He managed the Beef Teaching and Research Facility at NDSU for six years. Rindel moved back to the Crosby area with his family in 2015 and joined The Bank of Tioga as an Agricultural Lender. In March 2018, he was promoted to AVP of Ag Banking.

Rindel and his family live on his family farm, where his wife, Tessa, runs an in-home daycare. They have a daughter Stella (4). Living on the farm allows Lee the opportunity to have a small cow herd, which keeps his family busy in the evenings and weekends.

He enjoys conversing with his clients and the satisfaction that comes from helping others achieve their business goals. Rindel can be reached at (701) 965-2014, or in person at The Bank of Tioga located at 7 N. Main Street, Tioga, ND 58852 or in Crosby at 11 Central Ave E., Crosby, ND, 58730.
