November 15, 2018, Tioga, ND - The Bank of Tioga recently donated $5,000 to Opportunity Foundation to assist with facility updates in the Tioga group home. Opportunity Foundation’s mission is to empower people in the community to achieve their goals by providing continuity, individualized supports, and equal opportunities.
“Opportunity Foundation is very grateful for The Bank of Tioga’s generosity. The group home in Tioga is in need of updating and this donation will go towards the cost of replacing the kitchen countertops. We would like to thank the bank for their continued support and for having a positive impact on people’s lives,” said Sonya Owan, Opportunity Foundation Executive Director.
Opportunity Foundation located in Tioga, Stanley and New Town is dedicated to providing quality support and services to people with intellectual disabilities. They strive to provide support and services that are least personal, age appropriate and help individuals engage in meaningful work based on their specific interests and skills. Trainings and programs are executed in order to maximize independence, create a normalizing atmosphere, and promote community integration.
